Hike For Hope Registration Open
The hike around Lake Del Valle raises thousands for Hope Hospice's nonprofit hospice care services.

LIVERMORE, CA —Registration is open for the 2025 Hike for Hope, which will take place Saturday, May 17 at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore. The hike is a large annual fundraiser for Hope Hospice and Health Services, which provides end-of-life care and support to patients and caregivers. Money raised will help provide grief support, dementia education, and family caregiver resources to the public at no extra charge. In 2024, hikers helped raise over $100,000 for the cause.
The hike will be a 2.6-mile out-and-back loop along the East Shore Trail, with an optional moderate loop to arrive at a scenic overlook.
Registration will be available the day of, but early-bird registration is available until April 14. Registration costs $35 per adult, $15 for youth 13-17, and is free for kids 12 and under. $80 family packages cover two adults and two youth.
