LIVERMORE, CA — It's the most wonderful time of the year in Livermore, and that means a magical village and parade.

Registration is open for the annual Holiday Village in the Park and Holiday Sights & Sounds Parade, which are expected to draw thousands of visitors to downtown Livermore from Dec. 5-6.

The festivities will begin the night of Friday, Dec. 5 with the Holiday Village in the Park, which will transform Carnegie Park into a magical holiday village. From 4-8 p.m., Twinkling booths will offer holiday treats, gifts, food experiences, including a visit from Santa Claus under the gazebo. Santa will be joined by the Gingerbread Girl and the Candy Girl, who will be taking pictures with kids.
