'Legally Blonde' Debuting At Bankhead Theatre

LIVERMORE, CA — Bend and snap your way over to the Bankhead Theatre this weekend for the premiere of “Legally Blonde,” the musical based on the hit 2001 Reese Witherspoon film.

The show, which tells the story of a blonde sorority girl who defies expectations and gets into Harvard Law School, will premiere Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. The movie was a smash hit when it came out, and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture: Musical Or Comedy. The musical version debuted in 2007.

This rendition will mark the first production of the recently rebranded Tri-Valley Theatre Company, formerly known as the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre. It will play each weekend until Sunday, Jan. 28. Visit livermorearts.org for a schedule and tickets.
