'Little Shop Of Horrors' Coming To Livermore
The smash musical will play Thursday through Sunday at Las Positas's outdoor amphitheater.

LIVERMORE, CA — You’ll think twice about buying plant food after watching “Little Shop of Horrors,” a hit Off-Broadway show playing outdoors at Las Positas Community College.
The musical, which will run from Thursday, July 28 until Sunday, July 31, tells the story of a singing carnivorous plant named Audrey II that develops a thirst for blood. The musical, which has been running for over 30 years, was written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, the team who wrote Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Aladdin.”
The show will run each night at 8 p.m. Las Positas’s Mertes Center for the Arts outdoor amphitheater at Building 4000 of its Livermore campus. Audience members can bring food and picnic blankets, or buy from food trucks on-site.
