Livermore Costco Will Continue To Offer Senior Shopping Hours

As coronavirus cases rise in California, Costco decides to keep its senior hours for two days each week.

LIVERMORE, CA — Senior hours will continue at the Livermore Costco Wholesale store.

The company is making the move to help keep seniors safe as the number of coronavirus cases rise. Seniors can continue shopping for two days each week in the store at 2800 Independence Drive: Tuesday and Thursday.

The company initially planned to stop senior hours but opted to offer it for guests as the delta variant cases grow across the U.S.

Hours for seniors or anyone with disabilities are from Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 to 10 a.m. at U.S. and Puerto Rico warehouse locations.

"Only club members 60 and older, people with disabilities and immunocompromised shoppers will be admitted during those hours," AARP reports.

Costco members who work in health care or as first responders can also shop during these hours with proper identification.
