Livermore Downtown Street Fest Announces Music Lineup

From Latin jazz to Western swing, rock to blues, here's the music that will play that weekend.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Downtown has announced the lineup of the live entertainment that will play May 20-21 at the Downtown Street Fest.

A total of 14 bands will play over the weekend at both Bankhead Plaza Stage and Stockmen’s Park Stage. Visit livermoredowntown.com for more information on each of the performers, and to buy Street Fest tickets.

10:30 - noon: Salvage Title plays a broad spectrum of rock music, including “the songs that other bands don’t try.”

2:30 - 4 p.m. René Escovedo's Latin Jazz Ensemble is led by the eponymous award-winning percussionist.

4:30 - 6 p.m. Crawdad Republic plays “vocally-driven” music inspired by folk and bluegrass.

Saturday, May 20 at Bankhead Plaza

10:30 - noon: Diablo Rhythm Wranglers perform country music including Western swing, cowboy songs, and bluegrass.

12:30 - 2 p.m. The Midnites are a duo playing a mix of soul, R&B, blues, folk and hip hop.

2:30 - 4 p.m. Meredith McHenry Duo covers a unique mix of azz, blues, rock, folk, country and pop, from Ella Fitzgerald to The Weeknd.

4:30 - 6:30 p.m. The Groovy Judy Band is a Hendrix-inspired band covering “groovy” music from the 60s to present.

Sunday, May 21 at Stockmen’s Park

10-11 a.m. Joya Yoga offers free yoga in the park.

11:30 - 1 p.m. Foam Riders play classic rock hits, with a focus on the 1980s.

1:30 - 3 p.m. Smokehouse plays a mix of modern country and Southern rock.

3:30 - 5 p.m. Damn Dirty Apes play rock & roll hits from the 60s to present.

Sunday, May 21 at Bankhead Plaza

11:30 - 1 p.m. Horatio Monroe performs indie acoustic music ranging from originals to covers of everyone from Rihanna to Nirvana.

1:30 - 3 p.m. Rock on Tap plays rock covers of songs ranging from Blondie to Sheryl Crow to Fleetwood Mac.

3:30 - 5 p.m. Dustbowl Travelers blends country, folk, rock and jam.
