Livermore Holiday Village Starts Friday

Enjoy Christmas carols, hot cocoa, twinkling lights, and Santa Claus himself at Carnegie Park.

LIVERMORE, CA — It's the most magical time of year in Livermore. On Friday evening, Carnegie Park will turn into a picture-perfect holiday village, full of local food, drink, crafts, and of course, Santa Claus.

Starting at 4 p.m., guests can walk through twinkling booths full of mulled wine from Wood Family Vineyards, beer from the Rivers End Brewing Company, cookies, hot cocoa, and every variety of holiday gift, all to the sounds of festive holiday music from DJ Oh-Mar. Kids will be able to take free photos with Santa from at The Gazebo, and enjoy visits from characters like the Gingerbread Girl and Candy Girl.

From 5-6:30 p.m., guests can enjoy Christmas carols, and from 6:30 to 7:30, the music of famed singer-songwriter Steve Kritzer.

On Saturday, head back down town for the Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade & Tree Lighting. The parade will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the tree lighting at around 7:15 p.m. See here for details about street closures and parking.
