Livermore PD Reminds Drivers Of Parking Time Limits

Violators of the long-established parking limits downtown can face fines up to $55.

LIVERMORE, CA - The Livermore police department sent a message to the public Thursday morning - don't forget to follow timed parking limits.

“A strong parking enforcement plan will contribute to the timely turnover of the parking spaces and increase the availability of the spaces for community consumers,” the department said.

The reminder is in part to support local downtown businesses. The department asked the public to help spread the word that the long-established time parking limits will be enforced downtown.

“This includes parking on First Street and Second Street (mostly two-hour time limits) and some side streets such as J Street, K Street and S. Livermore Avenue," the department said.

Due to construction on First Street west of L Street, parking is limited. There are no time restraints on Third Street or the parking garage on Railroad Avenue.
