Livermore Rodeo Returns This Weekend To Celebrate 106 Years

Early celebrations are underway for the Livermore Rodeo, which returns this weekend at Livermore Valley Stadium.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Rodeo returns this weekend for its 106th year, and some celebrations are already underway heading into the two-day event.

Leading up to the big day is the 42nd annual Mixer & Team Branding, featuring live music and a BBQ dinner Wednesday, followed by the Local Team Roping Slack on Thursday. The Pro Rodeo Slack and Cowgirl Luncheon are both slated for Friday.

The weekend revelry begins with the Livermore Rodeo Parade taking over downtown on Saturday morning, ahead of the main event in the afternoon.

The gates will open at 11 a.m. on both weekend days, with plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment on deck before Grand Entry at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's roster of events for the PRCA Rodeo include saddle bronc and bareback riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and more.

General admission begins at $27 ahead of time and $32 on the day of the event.
