New Assistant Superintendent Selected In Livermore

Michelle Pechette will serve as Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services, a role she recently served in Amador County.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District selected Michelle Pechette as its Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, the district announced.

Pachette has been a teacher, elementary and middle school principal, and district-level director for early childhood education. She most recently served as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services for the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. In that role, Pachette was responsible for developing and implementing district wide educational programs, creating a plan to support underserved students, and overseeing staff professional development.

Pachette received her bachelors in elementary education from Grand Canyon University, and a masters in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University.

“I consider myself to be a collaborative leader as I greatly value building strong relationships with educators, parents, students, and the community. I look forward to joining a district that offers such a diverse range of educational programs and opportunities for students and working with the strong leadership team already in place,” Pechette said in a statement.

Pending board approval, Pechette is expected to join the executive team Oct. 1.
