Livermore Students, Coffee Shop Join Forces To Spread Joy

A group of students from a Livermore school wrote kind messages on 1,000 coffee sleeves to help bring a smile to customers' faces.

LIVERMORE, CA — A capable team of second and fourth-graders from Livermore recently teamed up with a local coffee shop to help put a smile on hundreds of faces.

As ABC 7 reports, it all started when a counselor at Junction Avenue K-8 School called up Panama Bay Coffee and pitched an idea to have students write joyful messages on coffee sleeves. The coffee shop sent over 1,000 sleeves, and the students worked dutifully to create kind and inspiring messages on each and every one of them.

"I put 'Your outfit slays,' because I want them to think that their outfit looks really nice," 9-year-old Julianna Valley told ABC 7. "I hope that it makes them feel happy."
