Livermore Students In Need Eligible For Free Backpacks, Supplies
Backpacks will be distributed August 4, thanks to local nonprofit Tri-Valley Haven.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore families in need may pick up backpacks filled with school supplies Aug. 4.
Local nonprofit Tri-Valley Haven will distribute one backpack per child and up to three backpacks per family on a first-come, first-served basis. Distribution will begin 10 a.m. at Tri-Valley Haven's food pantry at 418 Junction Ave. in Livermore and at Lynnewood United Methodist Church at 4444 Black Ave. in Pleasanton (parking available at the aquatics center).
Nine scientific calculators will be provided to AP math students upon request. Call 925-449-5845 ext. 2702 or email ralph@trivalleyhaven.org to ensure availability. Calculators can be picked up at 3663 Pacific Ave. in Livermore.
