Junbi is a recent chain that has exploded across California thanks to its delicious fruit-based matcha teas. It opened a Livermore branch in January at the former location of Gong Cha, which sold Taiwanese milk tea. It boasts an extensive menu of matcha tea lattes, matcha cold brews, roasted green tea, milky tea, and non-caffeinated drinks, which feature creative mixtures of fruit, milk, and vanilla. Guests can add on boba, almond jelly, aloe, chia seeds, lychee, red bean, shots of espresso, and more.
Junbi also offers made-to-order rice bowls, and rice balls with salmon, snow crab, cod, and more. Guests can also enjoy soft-serve vanilla based ice cream made with premium matcha ingredients and toppings, matcha drinks blended with vanilla cream, and non-caffeinated slush food drinks.
