Livermore Valley Half Marathon Registration Open

LIVERMORE, CA — Take in the majesty of Livermore wine country and enjoy its creations with the Livermore Valley Half Marathon and Wine, Beer & Music Festival.

The 10th annual Livermore Valley Half Marathon, 5K & Kids Festival is set for Sunday, March 3 between 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The three races start at South Livermore Avenue and First Street. The half marathon continues down Arroyo Road, and continues through Holdener Park, Wente Vineyards, Sycamore Grove, the Olivina Arch, and ends about three hours later in the same location it started.

New this year is the “Kids on K Street” race through downtown.

After the races, enjoy wine, beer, and food from local wineries, breweries and restaurants downtown.

The following streets will be closed March 3, according to the Livermore Police Department:

• 2:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. First St between S L St and S Livermore
• 5 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. First St between S Livermore and McLeod
• 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. S Livermore between First St and Second St
• 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. McLeod St between First St and Second St
• 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. Second St from S. L St to S. N St
• 7:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Second St between McLeod St and S L St
• 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. S L St between First St and College Ave
• 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Arroyo Rd (southbound only) between College Ave and Concannon Blvd
• 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Arroyo Rd (southbound only) between Concannon Blvd and Wetmore Rd
• 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Concannon Blvd (eastbound bike lane only) between Arroyo Rd and Wente St
