Livermore Valley Wines Win 201 Awards At SF Chronicle Wine Competition

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Valley Wine Community wineries received 201 medals in the 2024 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest wine competition in North America.

Las Positas Vineyards was named the top White Wine Sweepstakes Winner for their 2023 Verdelho Livermore Valley CA. Other awards included:

• 4 Best of Class
• 26 Double Gold
• 57 Gold
• 87 Silver
• 26 Bronze

The Best of Class Awards were awarded to Almost Famous Wine Company 2021 San Francisco Bay Cabernet Franc, Darcie Kent Vineyards 2022 Livermore Valley Chardonnay, Darcie Kent Vineyards 2021 Livermore Valley Petit Verdot, and Wine Without Borders 2022 Livermore Valley Primitivo.

Other wineries honored include 3 Steves Winery, Arroyo Cellars, Bent Creek Wines, BoaVentura, Charles R Vineyards, Concannon Vineyard, Cuda Ridge Wines, Dante Robere Vineyards, Del Valle Winery, Favalora Vineyards Winery, Fenestra, GarreVineyard and Winery, JMC Cellars, Longevity Winery, McGrail Vineyards, Murrieta's Well Estate Vineyard, Page Mill Winery, Pruett Farms, Retzlaff, Rios-Lovell Estate Winery, Rosa Fierro Cellars, Wente Vineyards, and Wood Family Vineyards.
