Livermore man due in court Friday for hearing to have parole revoked on previous drug-related conviction.

A Livermore man charged with killing his baby is scheduled to appear in court Friday for a hearing to have his parole for a previous drug conviction revoked.

Robert James Daily, 27, is being held without bail, according to Alameda County prisoner records, on homicide and child abuse charges in the death of his 6-month-old son, also named Robert Daily.

He was convicted in 2012 on charges of receiving stolen property, methamphetamine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a report by KRON 4, Daily sobbed during a court appearance earlier this week.

His parole hearing is set for 9 a.m. Friday at the Wiley Manuel courthouse in Oakland.
