UPDATE: Carjacked Vehicle Found Abandoned
Man hit with crowbar during carjacking Tuesday evening in north Livermore.

A carjacked vehicle was found abandoned Tuesday evening at the , police said.
About 6:30 p.m., police received reports of a carjacking in which a man was hit by a crowbar, Lt. Matt Sarsfield said. The victim received medical attention but was not taken to a hospital.
Police searched for the victim's Jaguar, described as black or green with 20-inch rims, for about two hours before an officer spotted it at 35 Fenton St., Sgt. Keith Graves said.

The carjacking occurred at the corner of Olivina Avenue and Andrews Street in north Livermore.
Witnesses at the scene said they saw several men in the stolen vehicle and the Jaguar's rear window was smashed.

"That's what caught my attention," said Jaime Valdez. "Why would they be driving around with a broken window?"
Sarsfield said the window was smashed by a large rock.
No arrests have been made.
