Man Missing After Sending Letter To Family, Car Abandoned At Livermore Walmart
BREAKING: Police are looking for Dwight Meier, who sent a letter to his family saying that he would no longer see them.
LIVERMORE, CA — Police are looking for a missing man who sent his family a letter saying that he would no longer see them, then left his vehicle in a parking lot in Livermore. The parents of Dwight Meier, 50, contacted Livermore police on Sunday after receiving the man's letter - which told them his vehicle could be found at Walmart.
Officers located the vehicle, then searched the surrounding area with assistance from sheriff's deputies.
Meier has not yet been found, and detectives are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call (925) 371-4700.
