Mines Road Reopens Early
A portion of Mines Road was supposed to be closed till the middle of the month reopened early, according to the county.
LIVERMORE, CA —A portion of Mines Road at Mile Marker 6.50 reopened last week, according to the Alameda County Public Works Agency. The closure was supposed to last through Oct. 19 in order to repair severe roadway damage caused by landslides.
The agency said in a tweet that the project was completed in under a week "by expediting construction and working round the clock."
