Niche Rankings Released: See How Livermore Did

See how LVJUSD fared in Niche's annual school report cards, and how it ranks regionally and nationally.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is the 10th best school district in Alameda County, and the 26th best in the Bay Area, according to education website Niche.

Niche ranked LVJUSD as the 112th best public school district in California. It was ranked the district with the 9th best teachers in Alameda County, and 12th in the county for diversity and environment for teachers.

The district received an overall grade of A-, based on quantitative data and parent and student surveys. Its academics and college prep both received an A, and its teachers and diversity received an A-. Its weakest scores were in Clubs & Activities (C), Resources & Facilities (C-), and Food (C-.)

Granada High School received an overall grade of A, and was ranked the 20th best public high school in Alameda County. Livermore High School received an overall grade of A-, and was ranked the 28th best public high school in Alameda County.

Next door, Pleasanton Unified School District scored an A+, and ranked first in Alameda County, as it has for a few years, and 11th in California. Dublin Unified School District scored an A+, and was ranked third in Alameda County and 38th in California.

The Palo Alto Unified School District was ranked the best public school district in California, while the Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125 north of Chicago was ranked best in the country.
