Community members were extremely generous and filled our patrol cars over and over again with school supplies. Additionally, community members donated just over $1,200 to be used to purchase more school supplies.

On Monday, Livermore Police Officer Association (LPOA) members and CPAAA volunteers sorted all of the collected items, shopped for additional supplies, and filled 306 backpacks with the supplies necessary to start the school year.

All of the LPD employees who coordinated and worked this event volunteered their time to do so.

The Livermore Police Department, LPOA, and CPAAA wish to thank the community of Livermore for their tremendous support of this program. We are so appreciative of the donations and kind words we received while collecting the school supplies.  We would also like to thank Walmart, Office Max, and Sav-On Pharmacy for their support of the program.
