UPDATE: Missing Kid Found in North Livermore
10-year-old who wandered off from parents in downtown area found by resident on Swallow Drive.

A 10-year-old boy that was missing Friday night after wandering off from his parents was found in north Livermore.
At about 9:15 p.m., the boy was located on the 500 block of Swallow Drive, off Olivina Avenue, by a resident who notified police, Sgt. Todd Madrid said.
Police began searching for the boy at about 8:20 p.m. after receiving a report that he went missing in the downtown area.

His father, along with about 10 police units, canvassed the downtown area, searching for the boy in restaurants and businesses.
The boy was greeted with hugs when he was reunited with his parents.

Before leaving, the mother hugged a police officer to thank them.
