The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) is accepting nominations for its 2024 Power of Giving Impact Maker Awards, recognizing nonprofit organizations, individuals, and corporate philanthropists for their contributions to the community.
The Livermore-based TVNPA said the awards celebrate “those whose dedication and hard work have created a positive impact and brought about significant change in the lives of countless individuals in the Tri-Valley area.” As a “regional convener,” TVNPA advocates for and encourages cooperation among nonprofit organizations.
Impact Maker Awards will be presented in November at the TVNPA’s annual Power of Giving conference.

Categories include Unsung Heroes, recognizing individuals within nonprofit organizations who contribute tirelessly but often receive little to no recognition; Lifetime Achievement, recognizing decades-long commitment to nonprofit causes; and Corporate Contributor/Philanthropic Partner, honoring for-profit organizations that have benefitted nonprofit organizations through financial contributions, fundraising efforts, and volunteerism.
Other categories include Arts and Culture and Excellence in Impact, with awards for a small organization with an operating budget of less than $1 million and a large-budget organization.
Anyone may nominate an individual or an organization for Impact Maker Award, according to TVNPA and self-nominations are allowed. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, Aug. 2.
Award winners will be chosen by a panel of government leaders, news media, and community members. TVNPA member organizations will also be eligible to vote for Lifetime Achievement and Corporate Partner/Philanthropic Partner awards.
