Revamped Flagpole Plaza Ribbon-Cutting To Take Place Wednesday
The community is invited to celebrate the renovated space, which includes outdoor dining, enhanced lighting, landscaping, and more.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore is celebrating the opening of the renovated Flagpole Plaza, which now features outdoor dining areas, enhanced lighting, string lights, and new security features.
The plaza in the heart of downtown Livermore was under renovation for several months, and now offers roughly $3.5 million in upgrades, including:
- A restored public gathering space that includes game new game tables for chess, checkers, and other board games
- Enhanced outdoor dining areas
- New stamped concrete walkways and landscaping
- Improved accessibility
- Upgraded lighting
- Advanced security cameras connected to the Livermore Police Department's Real-Time Awareness Center
The community is invited to attend the official ribbon cutting for the new plaza Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
