This Livermore Brewing Company Won Big At An International Competition

LIVERMORE, CA — Shadow Puppet Brewing Company won three awards in the 2021 USA Beer Ratings competition, which scored brewers across the world based on quality, value and packaging.

The Livermore brewing company received 92 out of 100 points and a gold medal for its tangy, tropical citrusy Tartbreak Guava Berliner Weisse in the European sour ale category, the company said in a statement. It received another gold medal and 90 points for its West Coast-style Blood Orange Lupi India Pale Ale in the IPA category.

The brewing company also took home a silver medal after receiving 80 points for its light Cinch Vanilla Cream Ale in the standard American beer category.

“We’re really excited that 3 of our popular beers scored so highly in competition,” said Brian Blackburn, founder and CEO, in a statement. “Our brewery has always produced high-quality beers, and it is great to get the ultimate seal of approval from the USA Beer Ratings competition.”
