Shooting Suspect Arrested In Livermore: LPD

Police arrested a Livermore man they say shot at on occupied car on Rincon Avenue in July.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a 26-year-old man they believe shot at an occupied vehicle on July 17.

Police say that a Ford F-150 truck shot several rounds at a Honda Civic around the 600 block of Rincon Avenue, near Ora Avenue, according to witness statements. No one was injured.

Livermore's Criminal Investigations Bureau identified 26-year-old Arturo Morales as the driver of the F-150. Last Wednesday, police arrested Morales at his home in Livermore. Police obtained a warrant to search the home, and said they found a 9mm handgun and ammunition.

Morales was charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, and permitting another to shoot from a vehicle.
