I-580 Reopened After Livermore Crash Results In Injuries

Traffic was backed up into unincorporated Alameda County after the Thursday morning crash.

LIVERMORE, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-alert Thursday morning in Livermore following a traffic crash that resulted in injuries.

The right and center lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 580, east of Highway 84, are blocked, according to CHP.

The Sig-alert was issued around 8:10 a.m. and called off later that morning, according to CHP.

Traffic was backed up past Ulmar at the time of the crash. Traffic was also impacted by high winds on I-580 between South Vasco Road and Grant Line Road in unincorporated Alameda County.
