Sophomore Jae Cosgriff Shines In Livermore's 7th Straight Win
Cowboys pitching sensation Taylor Rodriguez tossed a four-hit shutout in which she struck out 16 and walked one.
LIVERMORE, CA — Sophomore standout Jae Cosgriff had a career-high four hits including a home run, Taylor Rodriguez pitched a four-hitter, and Livermore beat Dublin 12-0 Tuesday in an East Bay Athletic League softball game.
Rodriguez (19-2) struck out 16 and walked one. The Dominican University-bound senior extended her streak of consecutive innings to 28. Rodriguez hasn’t allowed a run since giving up one in the seventh inning of an April 19 8-1 EBAL win against California.
Rodriguez has 256 strikeouts in 144 innings. She lowered her ERA to 1.02 on Tuesday.

Audrey Sweet and Taylor Rapp each had three hits, and Cosgriff also had a career-high four RBI in the Cowboys’ seventh straight win.
Alizabeth Ruiz and freshman Maggie Pyke each added two hits for Livermore (19-3-1, 11-1 EBAL).

Cosgriff is batting .386 (27 for 70) with seven extra-base hits including two home runs and has a .482 on-base percentage. She’s slugging .542 and has a 1.025 OPS.
