Suspect Sought in Incident that Left Teen Cut by Knife
Police say 17-year-old uncooperative over incident reported in Chestnut Street area.
Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly confronted and cut a 17-year-old boy with a knife, Sgt. Brian Martinez said.
The incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near Chestnut and North I Streets, an area known for gang activity.
Police were notified of the crime nearly two hours after the incident occurred when officials from ValleyCare Medical Center reported the teen had checked in to seek medical treatment.

"The victim was uncooperative and we don't even have a suspect description," Martinez said.
The teen was cut on his arm and the injury is not serious, Martinez said.
