Suspects Sought in Parking Lot Robbery
Police searching for two men in connection to Tuesday night robbery at the Carl's Jr. parking lot on East Stanley Boulevard.

Police continue to investigate a that occurred Tuesday evening near the on East Stanley Boulevard.
At around 6:20 p.m. a 22-year-old Pleasanton man driving a truck pulled into the lot to rest and take a cigarette break, Lt. Matt Sarsfield said.
The man was approached by two men in a blue or green Honda Odyssey van and was asked for a cigarette.

One of the suspects lifts his shirt up to show the victim a handgun.
The suspect then walks around the truck and enters through the passenger side.

"He takes the victim's keys, throws it across the parking lot and takes the victim's wallet and cell phone," Sarsfield said.
The other suspect stood by and observed the robbery, police said.
The suspects then return to the van, tell the victim to stay in his vehicle before they drove off, Sarsfield said.
However, the victim attempted to follow the suspects around the Stanley Boulevard area and ended up going to a nearby friends house to call police.
The victim was not injured in the robbery.
Both suspects are described as black males and 19-20 years of age.
The armed robber was wearing a white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans. He is described as standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, 165 pounds with a thin build, and a short, black afro.
The other suspect was wearing a white tank top and baggy blue jeans. He is described as standing 6 feet tall, 185 pounds and having short, black hair with a receding hairline.
The van they were driving also had a white flower sticker at the lower right corner of the rear window, Sarsfield said.
