Tesla Road Lane Closed Indefinitely Due To Erosion: County
The westbound lane of a part of Tesla Road is closed, according to Alameda County Public Works.
LIVERMORE, CA — The westbound lane of Tesla Road at Mile Marker 9.50 is closed indefinitely due to an active landslide detected in the area, the Alameda County Public Works announced Friday in a news release. The area extends roughly from Reuss Road until the county line.
A one-lane, two-way traffic control system has been implemented in the area, ACPWA said. That will remain in effect until experts confirm that the area is safe to reopen.
Anyone who drives in the area is urged to exercise caution and follow all traffic directives, but ACPWA “strongly recommend[s] that the public avoid this section of Tesla Road, if possible. Limiting traffic near the landslide site is crucial for the effectiveness of our safety efforts and aids in expediting the resolution of this issue.”
