LIVERMORE, CA — Tesla Road is closed to traffic from Cross Road in Livermore to the Alameda/San Joaquin County border until further notice, the California Highway Patrol announced.

The closure began Saturday due to a mudslide. On Sunday afternoon, CHP announced that no traffic will be allowed from Mile Marker 9.5 indefinitely.

The westbound lane of the same area was already closed in December, when Alameda County Public Works announced the need to monitor an active landslide. The same area was also closed from March until May 2023.
