Mony Nop Turkey Drop Taking Place Sunday In Livermore
Tri-Valley Haven is asking for donations of frozen turkeys, gift cards, or cash to help brighten the holiday season for those in need.

LIVERMORE, CA — 'Tis the season for giving, and in a year when many have been hit especially hard by the government shutdown, that means more than ever. The Tri-Valley Haven shelter is launching its annual Holiday Food Drive to collect essential, nonperishable Thanksgiving foods like instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, pumpkin pie mix, and stuffing.
Donations received by Nov. 13 will go toward the Thanksgiving giveaway.
Tri-Valley Haven is collaborating with realtor Many Nop for the 10th annual Money Nop Turkey Day, which will take place Sunday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Livermore City Hall. Community members can donate frozen turkeys, gift cards, or cash on the day of the event, via trivalleyhaven.org, or at any Grocery Outlet location in Livermore or Pleasanton.

For the 10th anniversary, community members are asked to consider giving 10 frozen turkeys or $100.
Until Dec. 10, Tri-Valley Haven is collecting holiday stockings and gift cards to ensure that families in need can enjoy the holiday season. Community members are asked to fill stockings with toys, treats, and essentials for children and adults, or purchase gift cards from Safeway, Grocery Outlet, Walmart, or Target.

Donations can be dropped off at the Tri-Valley Haven office at 3663 Pacific Avenue in Livermore Monday through Friday from 9-5 p.m.
