Tri-Valley Mayors To Speak At Bankhead Theater
The 5 Tri-Valley mayors will speak Wednesday at a Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance panel on civic leadership and community engagement.
LIVERMORE, CA — Mayors of the five Tri-Valley cities will meet Wednesday to speak at the Tri-Valley Non Profit Alliance's Community Program at the Bankhead Theater.
Danville Mayor Renee Morgan, San Ramon Mayor Mark Armstrong, Dublin Mayor Sherry Hu, Pleasanton Mayor Jack Balch, and Livermore Mayor John Marchand will join a panel discussion exploring the connection between civic leadership and community engagement. While the five Tri-Valley mayors have convened before, four out of the five speakers were elected mayor in November, and can bring fresh perspectives.
Mayors will discuss how to foster stronger partnerships between local governments and nonprofit organizations. Topics will include economic uncertainty, meeting the needs of underserved populations, and tackling issues related to housing, sustainability, and workforce equity.

The event is free, though donations are encouraged. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., followed by registration and refreshments. and the program begins at 10 a.m. See here to register.
