12-Acre Grass Fire Contained In Livermore: LPFD
The fire was one of at least three that have broken out in Livermore and Pleasanton from Sunday night to Monday afternoon.
LIVERMORE, CA — A 12-acre vegetation fire burned at 500 Greenville Road in Livermore, an industrial neighborhood just south of Las Positas Road in far eastern Livermore, about five miles from the Altamont Pass, according to the Pulsepoint app.
The fire was first received Monday at 2:22 p.m., according to Pulsepoint. Footage of the fire posted to social media shows heavy smoke and fast-moving winds. Pulsepoint reported the fire closed at 4:39 p.m. Monday.

Several fires have broken out in the last 24 hours in Livermore and Pleasanton. A fire broke out in a residential neighborhood near the 1700 block of Laguna Creek Lane in Pleasanton, near the Marilyn Murphy Kane Trail. That fire was received at 2:28 p.m. Monday and closed at 2:59 p.m. Monday, according to Pulsepont.
On Sunday night at around 10:35 p.m., a vegetation fire broke out near the Arroyo Bike Trail and Mocho Park, according to Pulsepoint. It was put out by 11:56 p.m. At 9:41 p.m. a fire broke out in a home on the 1900 block of Heidelberg Drive, and it took nine units over an hour and a half to put it out.
