Vehicle Prowler Arrested

Livermore man arrested Wednesday evening at Rockhouse Sports Pub and Grill.

A 40-year-old Livermore man was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of burglary, Sgt. Keith Graves said.

Jason William Edgar was in possession of a wallet that was taken from a vehicle parked at the on Portola Avenue, Graves said. Police reports said the 1998 Isuzu Rodeo was found to have a smashed window when officers arrived at the scene about 9:30 p.m.

"An employee saw Edgar prowling around the parking lot," Graves said.

Police were called after a car alarm went off.

Edgar has a long history with Livermore police, Graves said.

He was booked at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on the burglary charge and violation of parole. Bail is set at $50,000.

Edgar is scheduled to be arraigned at 11 a.m. Friday at Department 701 of the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice in Pleasanton.
