Veteran Stand Down Event Offers Resources, Care
Veterans and unhoused community members can receive free meals, medical and dental care, counseling, legal advice, haircuts, and more.
LIVERMORE, CA — Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert is hosting an event to help veterans and the unhoused in need of support.
The Veteran Stand Down and Unhoused Resources Event will offer a number of free services, including flu and COVID shots, legal services, health and dental care, mental health resources, veteran resource services, and haircuts. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The event will take place at the Robert Livermore Community Center at 4444 East Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, email Melissa.hernandez@acgov.org.
