Victim Of Fatal I-580 Crash Identified
BREAKING: California highway Patrol officials said the car ended up down an embankment near Greenville Road.
LIVERMORE, CA — A man who died in a crash on Interstate Highway 580 in Livermore on Saturday has been identified as Daniel Denz, 22, of Manteca, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau. The California Highway Patrol got a call at 3:26 p.m. Saturday from a passerby who saw a silver SUV traveling on eastbound Highway 580 spin out and go down an embankment near Greenville Road, CHP Officer James Evans said.
Only the SUV was involved in the crash. The coroner has not yet determined the cause of Denz's death.
