Wheels Bus Launches Network Expansion, Service Updates
Improvements include new routes, improved BART connectivity, enhanced weekend service, and free rides for the next week.
LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority is now offering expanded network coverage, improved connectivity to BART, and enhanced weekend services.
New benefits include:
- Free rides systemwide until April 6
- Adjusted Rapid bus frequencies aligned with the new 20-minute BART schedules
- New routes, including Route 4 through Dublin, Route 18 through South Livermore, and Route 11
“Wheels continues to improve and evolve to meet the needs of our growing Tri-Valley communities. With routes reaching neighborhoods that were previously without service and improved BART connectivity there are more reasons than ever to ride Wheels,” LAVTA Board Chair and Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez said in a statement. “I would personally encourage those who haven’t tried Wheels to take advantage of the fare free promotion and see just how easy and convenient it is to take the bus.”
New route maps and timetables are available at wheelsbus.com/wheels-in-motion.
