Where's the Power?

Some residents this morning have no electricity, according to PG&E reports.

Power outage?

No we're not talking about rolling blackouts.

But apparently some residents this morning likely were unable to have toast with their orange juice. We received a report via our Livermore Patch Facebook page that some residents woke up this morning without any electricity.

  • Resident Kaylan Flanagan says that she knows of at least three people in the Mines Road and Hillcrest Avenue area that did not have electricity.
  • An outage was also reported this morning at Madeira Way, according to resident Rhonda Abreu.
  • Michelle Sheatsley Adams says Placer Circle, off Alameda Drive near Murrieta Boulevard was affected.
  • Staci Wolcott Shanks reports Pomona Way at Jackson Avenue also was affected. Power came back on at about 8 a.m., she said.
  • Stacey Arendt Dias says her home on College Avenue, near the and , was without power.

A look at the PG&E Electrical System Outage Map shows a neighborhood in the Livermore Avenue, Portola Avenue and First Street "triangle" was out of power.

The report provides a range of up to 49 "customers" without electricity.

PG&E has no cause to the small outage, which was first reported at 6:17 a.m.

The PG&E report was last updated at 8:25 a.m. and a time of restoration was unavailable.
