Livermore, CA — December 4, 2025 — The Young Men’s Service League (YMSL), Livermore Chapter, is proud to announce that its 2025 “Ultimate Gift” project will support Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), Alameda County Chapter, an organization dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor
As part of this year’s Ultimate Gift, YMSL members—mothers and their high-school sons—will join SHP for two community bed-building events, where volunteers will construct fully assembled twin beds for children across Alameda County who do not currently have a bed of their own.

Alongside the hands-on builds, YMSL Livermore is launching a community-wide bedding drive to collect new twin-size bedding essentials, including comforters, sheets, pillows, and blankets. All donated items will accompany the newly built beds, providing children with a complete, comfortable, and dignified place to sleep. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national nonprofit that has delivered more than 200,000 beds to children in need. The Alameda County Chapter actively supports families in Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, and surrounding areas.
Community members wishing to support the project can donate new bedding or contribute financially to help fund lumber, hardware, and bedding supplies. If you would like to contribute in support of the bedding drive please make a donation through this Amazon wishlist link https://www.amazon.com/hz/wish...
