• Study to Drive Future Highway Projects Between Santa Maria, Guadalupe (noozhawk.com) — Transportation planners are eyeing a future corridor study for key routes in the Lompoc Valley, including parts of Highways 1 and 246, to guide long-term safety and congestion fixes. A new Highway 166 study between Guadalupe and Santa Maria is already outlining signals, turn lanes, lighting, and school-area improvements, and SBCAG says Lompoc’s routes could be next in line for similar planning and funding priorities.
