1 Dead, Another Wounded In Ocean Boulevard Shooting: LBPD

One man died and another was wounded in a shooting on Ocean Boulevard early Sunday morning, Long Beach police said.

LONG BEACH, CA — One man was killed and another was wounded during a shooting early Sunday morning in Bluff Park, according to police.

Police responded to a call at around 1:55 a.m. at the 2600 block of East Ocean Boulevard in the city's Bluff Park area.

They found the first victim suffering non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, the Long Beach Police Department said.

Police shortly after located a second man nearby suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
