1 Man Shot, Another Stabbed During Argument In Long Beach: Police
Both men were taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive, police said.
LONG BEACH, CA — Two men were hospitalized Monday night following an argument that ended with a shooting and stabbing, according to police.
Both men were arguing in the 1100 block of Cedar Avenue just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, when they shot and stabbed one another, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Long Beach Fire personnel responded and found the men less than a quarter mile away near Anaheim Street. One of them had a gunshot wound to the lower body, while the other had been stabbed in the upper body, police said.

The men were then taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police, who said their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
It's unclear what the men were arguing about or whether they knew each other.
