LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police are investigating a shooting that killed a 19-year-old man Sunday night in Long Beach.Police responded to a report of a person who was shot in the 6200 block of Long Beach Boulevard at about 7:45 p.m. When police arrived they rendered medical aid until paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department arrived. LBFD took the victim, identified as 19-year-old Long Beach resident Dante Williams, to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.Homicide detectives are still investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting.Anyone who may have additional information about this incident was urged to contact LBPD homicide detectives Michael Hubbard and Jesus Espinoza at 562-570-7244.
