2 Dead in Long Beach Shooting

Police were investigating a shooting in Long Beach that left two men dead and two women wounded.

Numerous calls were made to police around 9:55 p.m. Friday reporting shots fired in the 6500 block of North Rose Avenue, one block south of Artesia Boulevard, said Long Beach police Sgt. David Marander.

The two men were pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed the two
women to an area hospital, and their condition were not immediately known.

Long Beach police detectives asked anyone with any information regarding
