2 Dead In Wrong-Way Crash In Long Beach
The crash happened around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Seventh Street and Terraine Avenue, according to police.
LONG BEACH, CA — Two men are dead following a wrong-way crash in Long Beach Wednesday morning, police said.
Long Beach police say the driver of a Honda Civic was speeding westbound on Seventh Street near Terraine Avenue around 6:20 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and veered into opposing lanes of traffic.
That's when he crashed head-on into the driver of a Honda Accord, police said. Both drivers died at the scene, police said.

The driver of the Honda Accord was identified by police as 37-year-old Long Beach resident Salvador Medina. The driver of the Honda Civic was not immediately identified as the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office works to notify his relatives of his death.
