2 Wounded In Long Beach Shooting
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the area of East 60th Street and Atlantic Avenue, according to police.
LONG BEACH, CA — Two men were hospitalized Thursday night after being shot in North Long Beach, according to police.
Long Beach police say they responded around 11 p.m. to the area of East 60th Street and Atlantic Avenue after reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found evidence of the shooting and learned two men had taken themselves to a local hospital after being struck by gunfire, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

One of the men was shot multiple times in the upper body while the other was struck once in the lower body, according to the LBPD. Both men are expected to survive, police said.
It's unclear at this time who shot the men or why. Detectives also responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the shooting, according to the LBPD.
