LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night in the Bluff Park neighborhood. The Long Beach Police Department received a call about gunshots heard in the 2700 block of East 2nd Street at about 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no people were at the location. No injuries were reported and no information about a suspect or the motive was known, police said. The investigation remains ongoing.
