'Bladed Weapon' Attack Victim Hospitalized In Long Beach
A person was attacked by another person with a "bladed weapon" in Long Beach on Saturday.
LONG BEACH, CA — A man was attacked by a suspect wielding a "bladed weapon" in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
Officers dispatched at about 7:40 p.m. Saturday to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 1300 block of Peterson Avenue, near Anaheim Street, located the victim, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
"The preliminary investigation indicates a verbal dispute escalated to the assault," according to a police statement. "The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury to the upper body and was transported to a local hospital."
